Using the site

SocialWire is free to read. By using it you agree to these terms. You may read it, share its links and quote short parts of our own writing with a link back to us. Please do not copy the site in bulk, or use it in a way that harms it or other visitors.

Our content and the creators' reels

• The reels, pictures and profile text taken from Instagram belong to their creators. See Copyright and takedown.
• The Fact-check and Issue pages, tags and summaries are written by us. Our verdicts and summaries are our reading of the sources we list. They can be wrong. If you think one is, tell us (Corrections and right of reply).
• Creators we invite sign in to SocialWire Studio and accept a separate licence there for the reels they add. A debunk written by a creator is shown with their name as what they say, until our team has checked it.
• You may use the complaint and reply forms to tell us about a problem or to answer a page about you. Please give true information: we read every message, and what you send is handled as set out in the privacy policy.
• Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice.

Links to other sites

We link to Instagram and other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they show or how they treat your data.

No promises

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, SocialWire is not responsible for loss that comes from using the site.
